The ongoing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak expanded rapidly throughout China. Major behavioral, clinical, and state interventions were undertaken to mitigate the epidemic and prevent the persistence of the virus in human populations in China and worldwide. It remains unclear how these unprecedented interventions, including travel restrictions, affected COVID-19 spread in China.

O surto em curso da doença de coronavírus 2019 (COVID-19) se expandiu rapidamente em toda a China. Intervenções comportamentais, clínicas e estatais importantes foram realizadas para mitigar a epidemia e impedir a persistência do vírus em populações humanas na China e no mundo. Ainda não está claro como essas intervenções sem precedentes, incluindo restrições de viagem, afetaram a disseminação do COVID-19 na China.
